If My People

 

1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

 

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY, and SEEK my face, and TURN from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lowly; modest; meek; SUBMISSIVE…Having a low opinion of one's self, and a deep sense of unworthiness in the sight of God.

 

Prayer is character of a renewed heart

Ps 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

This is not just reading the bible and giving a quick prayer. There is a tenderness here. An urgency. Not settling for a glimpse! To desire to seek His very face! His presence! Seeking Him as hid treasure!

Ge 32:26 …I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Don’t leave His word until that blessing of instruction, wisdom, hearing from Him… I will not let The go! Show me Lord!

Ps 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Heb 11:6 …he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him.

2Ch 30:9 For if ye turn again unto the LORD…for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, IF ye return unto him.
