A Curse Or A Blessing

Mal 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Mal 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

The blessing in obedience to this:
Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse

if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Prove Him to pour out such a blessing there is no room to receive it!?

Sunday this verse was touched on twice. A review of stewardship in Sunday school and the afternoon was a guest missionary who mentioned this verse again.

The Lord spoke to my heart… to tithe my time to Him.

In theory, it looked easy. But you know how things like to creep up. You don’t hear your alarm. You didn’t sleep well. Kids are sick. Or you are so busy that its overwhelming to even think about spending extra time in Gods Word. I know, sounds crazy right!

Well, prayerfully, I wanted to prove God. He said I could, so I did. I wanted those blessings that Id have no room to receive it! Im not even sure I know what that looks like!

But I can tell you, at the end of the week, my heart was burning, overflowing with joy, bliss, and thankfulness!

So many things I had been praying about. One was 2 years of prayer! That very day I saw answers and blessings!

We were blessed financially. We were blessed with victory in struggles.

My family life. Revival in the hearts of the whole family. The sweet spirit in the home! I struggle with multitasking and with 6 kids, it can be overwhelming at times. I was able to enjoy my kids AND do all the mom things. My husband and I have never had such a wonderful relationship. We love being together as much as we can. We are intimate. We constantly laugh together. He is the best friend/love of my life I always wanted. (Side note: I grew up watching those rom coms. Then I thought that love like that didn’t actually exist. Dig into and study songs of Solomon! Oh how exciting love/marriage can truly be! What God designed it to be.)

Truly, Ps 23:5 …my cup runneth over.

I just wanted to share my testimony of this wonderful promise, so you can be encouraged and prove God for yourself.

Many blessings my friends
